Maurice Williams is a safety from Alief, TX who attended Shadow Creek High School. He earned four-star and three-star prospect rankings, placing No. 26 nationally at his position according to Rivals and No. 8 overall in the Houston area via 247Composite. Williams recorded 46 tackles across 12 games in 2021, then posted 43 tackles with three passes defended in 11 games in 2022. During his final season at Shadow Creek in 2023, he tallied 26 tackles including 19 solo stops and one interception over six games while helping the team to a 9-2 record. He transferred to Arizona State as a junior, appearing in 10 games for Houston in 2024 primarily on special teams before joining the Sun Devils.
