Joshua Shanklin is a 6'3", 240-pound defensive lineman from Oakland, CA who attended McClymonds High School. As a senior in 2023, he recorded 10.0 sacks among 43 tackles while also catching 10 passes for 183 yards and one score. Shanklin played one season at Foothill College in 2024, appearing in 11 games and posting 64 total tackles with 19.0 for loss and 14.5 sacks. He added four forced fumbles, six pass breakups, and one fumble recovery, ranking as the No. 1 junior college edge prospect by recruiting services. Now a redshirt sophomore, Shanklin returns to Arizona State.
