Cameron Dyer is a quarterback for Arizona State from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he attended La Cueva High School. A four-star recruit ranked 251st nationally in the 2025 class, Dyer had an accomplished prep career that included multiple sports. As a junior in 2023, he was named Gatorade New Mexico Player of the Year after passing for 2,897 yards with 29 touchdowns and rushing for 1,492 yards with 26 scores on 12.8 yards per carry, leading La Cueva to a 10-3 record and the state championship. In the title game against Cleveland, he threw a touchdown pass and ran for 220 yards and additional scores in a 35-14 victory. Dyer did not appear in games during 2025 after suffering a knee injury during his senior season but participated in practice.
