AJ Ia is a 6'6", 260-pound tight end from Santa Ana, California who attended Orange Lutheran High School. He caught 66 passes for 796 yards during his prep career, recording 523 yards and six touchdowns as a senior. Orange Lutheran reached the semifinals of the 2024 CIF Southern Section Football Championships with an 8-4 record while facing four nationally ranked opponents. Named to the 2025 Polynesian Bowl, Ia was a four-star recruit ranked 333rd nationally. Now a sophomore at Arizona State, he has appeared in limited capacity during the 2025 season with one reception for 10 yards.
