Sam Mbake is a 6'3" wide receiver from Atlanta, Georgia, who attended North Cobb High School before playing at Kilgore College. He was a member of Arkansas' program during 2022 and 2023, appearing in nine games as a true freshman in 2022 primarily on special teams before suffering a season-ending injury prior to 2023. At Kilgore in 2024, he recorded 233 receiving yards with one touchdown reception across seven multi-catch games. Mbake joined App State as a redshirt senior and appeared in the final nine games of the 2025 season, starting the last five regular season contests. He finished with 24 receptions for 207 yards and one touchdown, including a season-high nine catches for 68 yards against Arkansas State in the regular season finale.
