Max Guest is a redshirt freshman kickoff returner for App State from Asheville, North Carolina, where he attended A.C. Reynolds High School. At the high school level, Guest accumulated over 3,400 rushing yards and 51 touchdowns across his career. During his senior year, he switched to quarterback for four games and ran for 838 yards with 13 touchdowns while throwing for 422 yards with two touchdowns. In 2025, Guest made his collegiate debut in a postseason game against Georgia Southern, recording three kickoff returns for 68 yards with a long of 30 yards.
