In 2022, he appeared in three games as a true freshman, recording 127 yards on 19 carries with two touchdowns. During his 2023 campaign, Roberts appeared in all 14 games and started four, accumulating 696 rushing yards on 123 attempts with seven rushing touchdowns while catching 14 passes for 113 yards. In 2024, he appeared in eight games with five starts before a season-ending injury, finishing with 574 all-purpose yards, 332 rushing yards, and one rushing touchdown.
