Joe Reddish is a redshirt junior defensive back from Charlotte, North Carolina who transferred to App State from Virginia Tech. At Independence High School, he recorded 121 tackles over his junior and senior seasons, including 82 solo stops, with five interceptions and 116 kick return yards as a senior. Reddish spent 2023-24 at Wingate, where he appeared in 11 games and posted four interceptions along with 11 pass breakups. He joined Virginia Tech in 2025, making two starts and appearing in 11 games while tallying 16 tackles, including 11 solo stops and 2.0 tackles for loss, with six stops against Georgia Tech.
