Jamel Howse is a tight end from Newberry, South Carolina, who plays for the App State Mountaineers. Standing 6'4" and weighing 240 pounds, Howse was selected for the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas in high school. As a senior, he recorded 46 receptions for 613 yards and five touchdowns on a 12-1 team. In his junior year, he had 34 catches for 412 yards, while his sophomore season produced nine receiving touchdowns.
