Aiden Benton is a 6'2", 250-pound left defensive end for App State, a redshirt junior from Clayton, Georgia who transferred from Georgia Military College. In 2025, he appeared in all 13 games with seven starts, recording 38 total tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and 8 quarterback hurries. He compiled a season-high seven tackles against James Madison and contributed 1.5 sacks in a game against Lindenwood. Prior to joining the Mountaineers, Benton posted 52 tackles and 9.0 tackles for loss at Georgia Military College as a junior college redshirt freshman.
