Zavier Mincey is a junior safety for the Alabama Crimson Tide who hails from Daytona Beach, Florida, where he attended Mainland High School. A consensus four-star recruit and top-20 prospect in Florida, Mincey made his collegiate debut against Western Kentucky in 2024 and recorded 16 tackles and two pass breakups across 13 games, including one start. In 2025, he appeared in all 15 games while contributing on both defense and special teams, accumulating 22 tackles, a half tackle for loss, two quarterback hurries, and a pass breakup. He earned his most extensive playing time in his first career start against Michigan, finishing with seven stops and a pass breakup.
