Devan Thompkins is a defensive end from Tracy, California who attended Edison High School. The 6'5", 298-pound edge rusher was rated a three-star prospect and the No. 45 edge player nationally by recruiting services. He spent four seasons at USC from 2022-25, appearing in 28 games total. In his final year with the Trojans, Thompkins played in 12 contests and recorded 31 tackles, including 6.5 for loss and three sacks, along with two pass breakups, a quarterback hurry and one forced fumble. He transferred to Alabama as the No. 41 player in the transfer portal according to recruiting services.
