Derek Meadows is a 6'5" wide receiver from Las Vegas, Nevada, who attended Bishop Gorman High School under coach Brent Browner. A unanimous four-star recruit, Meadows was ranked as high as No. 46 nationally and the top-rated prospect from Nevada by multiple outlets. In his senior season, he recorded 21 receptions for 496 yards and six touchdowns, while also collecting 15 catches for 391 yards and eight scores as a junior. Originally committed to LSU, Meadows signed with Alabama and appears in 12 games during his freshman year with one start, seeing action at wideout and on special teams across conference and nonconference contests.
