Alex Asparuhov is a punter from Fresno, California who attended San Joaquin Memorial High School. A three-star prospect in the 2025 signing class, he was rated by recruiting services as the No. 2 punter in the nation and No. 130 overall prospect. Asparuhov chose Alabama over Florida, Fresno State and Oklahoma. During 2025 fall camp he worked back from injury and appeared in one game, recording his first collegiate playing time against ULM. He returns to the Crimson Tide roster as a redshirt freshman.
