Melvin Puckett is a 6'3", 300-pound right guard from Paducah, Kentucky, who attended Monarch High School before playing at Bethune Cookman. During the 2024-25 season, he appeared in 10 games on the offensive line and logged one game appearance in 2025. Puckett transferred to Akron as a redshirt sophomore in 2026.
