Kurtis Waye is a 6'4", 240-pound right defensive end from McDonough, Georgia, who attended Ola High School before playing at Clark Atlanta. During his three seasons with the Panthers from 2023–25, Waye appeared in 31 games and registered 118 total tackles, consisting of 58 solo and 60 assisted stops. He recorded 15 tackles for loss totaling 61 yards and 5.5 sacks for 31 yards, along with three pass breakups and one forced fumble. Waye transferred to Akron as a senior.
