Frank Miner is a long snapper for the Akron Zips standing 6'2" and weighing 205 pounds. A Seattle, Washington native, he attended Seattle Preparatory School where he earned three letters and received First-Team All-Metro honors on the defensive line as a senior. At that school he played fullback and defensive end while serving as long snapper and lettered in swimming as a freshman, competing at state level. Miner redshirted in 2023 at Oregon State and did not play in 2023-24. He appeared in two games during the 2025 season and returns as a redshirt senior for Akron.
