Dayne Shor is a left tackle for the Akron Zips standing 6'5" and weighing 325 pounds. A four-star recruit from Denmark High School in Alpharetta, Georgia, Shor was ranked the No. 39 offensive tackle in the country by national outlets and the No. 32 offensive tackle on the 247Composite. He committed to Alabama over Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas A&M. Shor appeared in two games for Connecticut in 2022 before redshirting in 2023. He took the field in 11 games in 2024 with one start. Shor is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration and has returned to compete for Akron.
