The Santa Rosa Beach, Florida native played in 11 games at fullback in 2024, recording 19 carries for 74 yards and one touchdown. In 2025, Hodges appeared in seven games with his first career start versus New Mexico, completing 6 of 14 passes for 74 yards while rushing 49 times for 207 yards and three touchdowns. He recorded a career-long run of 27 yards against Colorado State and a career-best 87 rushing yards in that same game. Hodges lettered in football, basketball, and lacrosse at South Walton High School, earning two first-team all-state selections in football.
