Cade Paterson is a defensive back for the Air Force Falcons. The Eastvale, California native attended Centennial High School, where he lettered in football under coach Matt Logan. At Centennial, Paterson earned academic all-Big 8 honors four times, was named first-team all-CIF on both offense and defense, and received the Honor Bowl scholar-athlete award. He also lettered four years in track, competing in the 100-, 200-, and 400-meter events, and one year in baseball. Paterson graduated with a 4.5 grade point average, ranking 26th in his class of 662. As a redshirt freshman in 2025, he did not see playing time. He is currently a sophomore majoring in systems engineering.
