Egbuka, a 6'1" left wide receiver from Steilacoom, Washington, was selected 19th overall by Tampa Bay in the 2025 NFL Draft. At Ohio State, he appeared in 50 career games from 2021–24, finishing with 205 receptions for 2,868 receiving yards and 24 receiving touchdowns—the program's all-time receptions leader. As a senior in 2024, he recorded 81 receptions for 1,011 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns while earning third-team All-Big Ten honors and leading the Buckeyes to a College Football Playoff National Championship victory. In his NFL rookie season, Egbuka recorded 63 receptions for 938 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns across 127 targets.
