Darnell Savage is a free safety who stands 5'11" and weighs 200 pounds. The Maryland product was selected 21st overall in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft by Green Bay, where he made his NFL debut and starting debut in Week 1 against Chicago. Over seven completed seasons, Savage has appeared in 97 games with 83 starts, recording 369 tackles (273 solo), 10 interceptions, 41 passes defensed, 11 tackles for loss, one sack, three quarterback hits, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He spent 2019–23 with the Packers before stints with Jacksonville, Washington and Buffalo in 2024–25. Savage joined the Pittsburgh Steelers and recorded two passes defensed in 2025.
