Michael Heldman is a 6'4", 260-pound LOLB from Central Michigan who agreed to terms with the New Orleans Saints on April 26. Over five college seasons spanning 53 games with 42 starts, he recorded 120 tackles (64 solo), 34.5 tackles for loss, 19.0 sacks, five pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and 29 quarterback hurries. A consensus first-team All-MAC honoree and Hero Sports second-team G5 All-American in 2025, Heldman set the school record for career quarterback hurries (29) and posted 10.5 sacks as a redshirt senior. Nationally that season, he ranked 12th in sacks per game (0.81) and 14th in tackles for loss per game (1.27).
