Bio

Solomon Byrd is a 6'3", 250-pound left defensive end from Palmdale, California. He played college football at Wyoming for three seasons before transferring to USC, where he recorded 10 sacks and 18.5 tackles for loss across two campaigns. At Wyoming, he appeared in 23 games and earned FWAA Freshman All-American first team honors in 2019. The Houston Texans selected Byrd in the seventh round (238th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft. He enters his third season with the Texans on a one-year contract.
