Kyle Hergel is a left guard for the Chicago Bears who entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the New Orleans Saints in 2024. The 6'2", 305-pound lineman has appeared in eight career games across stints with New Orleans and Chicago. After playing in eight games as a rookie with the Saints in 2024, he joined the Bears practice squad in November 2025 and signed a reserve/futures contract in January 2026. In college, Hergel started 13 games at Boston College in 2023 and earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference honorable mention honors. He previously started all 24 games across two seasons at Texas State, where he was named team captain and received All-Sun Belt third-team recognition in 2022.
