Troy Andersen is a 6'4", 230-pound right inside linebacker from Dillon, Montana, who was selected 58th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft by Atlanta. Through three seasons (2022–24), he appeared in 26 games with 11 starts, accumulating 44 tackles in 2024 before landing on the reserve/injured list. That year he earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors in Week 4 after posting 16 tackles and an interception returned for a 47-yard touchdown. Andersen spent four seasons at Montana State, where he played multiple positions and was named the 2021 FCS ADA Defensive Player of the Year and unanimous first-team All-American. He enters his fifth season with the Falcons.
