Robinson, a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, played five seasons at Alabama from 2017 to 2021, recording 545 rushes for 2,704 yards and 29 touchdowns across 66 games. The Commanders selected him in the third round (98th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft. He started in 37 of 58 games played with Washington and San Francisco, accumulating 662 career rushes for 2,729 yards and 17 touchdowns, along with 73 receptions for 612 yards and five touchdowns. In 2025, Robinson appeared in all 17 games, posting 92 rushes for 400 yards and two touchdowns while catching eight passes for 25 yards with the 49ers.
