Mason Posa is a linebacker for the Wisconsin Badgers who hails from Albuquerque, New Mexico and attended La Cueva High School. A four-star composite recruit, Posa played in 11 games during his 2025 freshman season, making five starts. He compiled 61 tackles, 4.0 sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Notable performances included 13 tackles in his debut start against Oregon on October 25, followed by 11 tackles and 2.5 sacks against Washington on November 8. He also recorded 12 tackles at Indiana on November 15 and nine tackles against Minnesota on November 29. Posa earned FWAA Freshman All-American and Third Team All-Big Ten honors.
