Braden Steely is a safety for the Western Michigan Broncos standing 5'11" and weighing 192 pounds. A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Steely attended Fort Wayne Carroll High School, where he recorded 93 career tackles and 13 interceptions while earning First Team All-Conference and 6A All-State honors. He redshirted during the 2024 season. In 2025, Steely appeared in all 14 games as the Broncos captured a MAC Championship and won the Myrtle Beach Bowl, primarily contributing on special teams with four tackles.
