Lataj Wright is a right cornerback from West Palm Beach, Florida, who attended Langston Hughes High School. He played two seasons at Fort Valley State before transferring to Western Kentucky, where he appeared in 20 games and recorded 55 total tackles, one tackle for loss, three interceptions, and 13 passes defended. Wright missed the entire 2024 season due to injury. In 2025, his second year with the Hilltoppers, he appeared in six games, tallying one tackle against Middle Tennessee on November 15 and one pass breakup against North Alabama on August 30.
