John Neider is a 6'2", 201-pound wide receiver from Milford, Connecticut who transferred to West Virginia as a redshirt junior. At UConn, Neider appeared in all 13 games during the 2025 season with five starts, accumulating 27 receptions for 422 yards and two touchdowns while also completing 1-of-2 pass attempts for 15 yards and a touchdown. He posted a season-high 69 yards on two catches with a score at Boston College. In 2024, he played in all 13 games primarily on special teams, recording 12 tackles. Neider was named Connecticut's 2023 Gatorade Player of the Year and the 2022 Walter Camp Connecticut High School Football Player of the Year after converting to quarterback as a senior at Jonathan Law High School.
