Da'Mare Williams is a safety who transferred to West Virginia from Coffeyville Community College. The 6'1", 201-pound prospect from Sylvia, North Carolina played his high school football at Smokey Mountain, where he accumulated 557 rushing yards, 90 receptions for 1,283 yards and 15 touchdowns across his prep career. At Coffeyville in 2025, Williams appeared in 10 games and totaled 39 tackles with two interceptions, two tackles for loss and four pass breakups while helping lead the team to a 7-3 record.
