Jason Hammond is a defensive tackle for Virginia who hails from Miami, Florida, where he attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School. A redshirt junior standing 6'2" and weighing 284 pounds, Hammond made his collegiate debut in 2023 against Tennessee. During the 2024 season, he started in all four of his appearances before missing the final eight games due to injury, finishing with 11 tackles.
