Alex Dunn is a defensive back for the Virginia Cavaliers. The Lynchburg, Virginia native attended Rustburg High School, where he was a four-time football letterwinner and team captain as a senior. As a junior, he earned First Team All-Region 3C honors at defensive back and All-Seminole District First Team recognition, adding honorable mention as a kick returner. A three-star recruit ranked No. 18 in Virginia, Dunn also competed in track, winning two state team titles and capturing the 2024 Adidas National Elite Championship in the 400m hurdles with a time of 56.12 seconds.
