Gray Peterson is a 6'3", 220-pound running back for Virginia Tech. A native of Appomattox, Virginia, Peterson was a four-year letterman at Appomattox County High School, where he served as captain in football and basketball. He earned three all-district and all-region honors across multiple positions and helped lead the Raiders to three district titles, three regional championships, and one VHSL state championship. Peterson graduated from Central Virginia Community College with an Associate's Degree in general studies and a 4.3 grade point average. He is currently a sophomore and majoring in mechanical engineering.
