Mekhi Anderson is a 5'9", 170-pound kick returner from Tampa, Florida who attended Armwood High School. In his prep career, Anderson accumulated over 1,200 all-purpose yards across his final two seasons, including 33 receptions for 668 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior while averaging 20.2 yards per reception. He also compiled 103 rushing yards and a touchdown on 15 carries and returned a kickoff for a score to help Armwood reach the district championship and playoffs. Anderson redshirted in 2024 after appearing in three games. During the 2025 season, he saw action in nine contests, recording five receptions for 66 yards and one touchdown, six kickoff returns for 130 yards, and two rushing attempts for 5 yards.
