Eddy Smith is a defensive end transfer from Texas Tech standing 6'6" and weighing 275 pounds. The Pearland, Texas native appeared in three games during the 2025 season, recording one tackle in a victory over Kent State. Smith saw action against West Virginia in 2024 before redshirting that year. A consensus three-star prospect and top-100 recruit in Texas, he earned first-team All-District 23-6A honors as a senior at Dawson High School with 33 tackles and 12 tackles for loss.
