Jaylan Brown is a redshirt sophomore wide receiver for UTEP from Nacogdoches, Texas. He redshirted at Michigan State in 2024 without appearing in games. In high school, Brown caught 55 passes for 908 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior in 2023, earning all-district first-team honors. During his 2025 redshirt freshman season, he played in nine games with four starts, recording 10 receptions for 103 yards and a long reception of 34 yards.
