Tayson Reid is a linebacker for the Utah Utes who transferred from Snow College. The Spanish Fork, Utah native attended Spanish Fork High School, where he rushed for 1,347 yards and 15 touchdowns while recording 271 tackles, 62.5 tackles for loss, and 19.5 sacks. He then served a two-year church mission in New Zealand before joining Snow College for the 2025 season. At Snow College, Reid appeared in eight games and led the team with 69 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, and 1.0 sack, also defending three passes (including a pick-six) and recovering a fumble. He was ranked a three-star JUCO prospect and the No. 4 linebacker nationally by recruiting services. Reid is a cousin of Utah football alumni Gabe Reid and Karene Reid.
