Marcus Wimberly is a 6'1", 185-pound free safety from Bauxite, Arkansas, who transferred to Utah from Oklahoma. He arrived on campus as a four-star prospect ranked No. 218 overall by recruiting services and No. 19 among safeties by the same service. At Bauxite High School, Wimberly played multiple positions, recording 533 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior while adding 28 receptions for 302 yards and two scores.
