Jaydon Wright is a junior running back for UL Monroe from Kankakee, Illinois. At Bishop McNamara High School, Wright rushed for 579 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior, adding 236 receiving yards. He recorded 153 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a game against Christ the King, and scored three touchdowns against Leo Catholic. Wright was named All-Chicagoland Christian Conference and placed on the 2023 Daily Journal All-Area Football team. A consensus three-star recruit, he was cited as the No. 23 prospect in Illinois by recruiting services.
