Julian Armella is a right guard from Miami, Florida, who attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School before joining Florida State as a four-star recruit in 2022. He appeared in four games during his freshman season and redshirted the remainder of 2022. Over the next two seasons with the Seminoles, Armella played in six games in 2023 and seven games in 2024, primarily on special teams units. He transferred to UCLA for the 2025 season, where he appeared in all 12 games with four starts at right guard.
