Marlin Odom is a 6'2", 179-pound right cornerback for Troy. A consensus three-star recruit from George County High School in Lucedale, Mississippi, Odom earned first-team all-state honors and was named Mississippi 6A Athlete of the Year following his senior season. He redshirted in 2024. During the 2025 season, Odom appeared in 11 games, playing five on defense and the remainder on special teams, accumulating 60 snaps primarily on the punt return unit. He recorded two total tackles, including one against Southern Miss and another in the Salute to Veterans Bowl, plus one pass breakup at ULM.
