Daivon Nelson is a 6'3", 203-pound safety for the Troy Trojans. The South Phoenix, Arizona native attended Marcos De Niza High School, where he was a three-year starter and team captain, recording three interceptions and 20 pass break-ups. Nelson played at Hutchinson CC before joining Troy, where he earned a KJCC conference title while posting an interception, nine pass break-ups, 19 tackles and three tackles for loss. In 2025, his redshirt junior season, Nelson appeared in eight games with 101 snaps on special teams, totaling two tackles.
