Bryce Burgess is a running back for the Troy Trojans. The Houston native attended Dawson High School, where he earned Texas 23-6A Newcomer of the Year honors following his sophomore season and Offensive Player of the Year accolades as a senior with 1,317 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns. He compiled 3,763 rushing yards and 50 touchdowns across his high school career while adding 42 receptions for 387 yards and five scores. Burgess spent two seasons at Tyler Junior College, recording 562 rushing yards and three touchdowns in 2024, then 589 yards and four touchdowns in 2025 while averaging 5.0 yards per carry. He also caught eight passes for 73 yards in 2025 and helped lead Tyler to an 11-0 record and NJCAA Semifinals berth. From Dawson HS · Houston, TX.
