Josiah Sharma is a 6'4", 336-pound nose tackle for the Texas Longhorns. A consensus four-star recruit from Folsom, California, he was ranked among the nation's top defensive linemen by multiple services before arriving on campus. Sharma made his Texas debut against San Jose State on September 6, 2025, recording one solo tackle. He appeared in three games total during his true freshman season, including matchups against UTEP and Vanderbilt. He was named to the 2025-26 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll.
