Hayward Howard Jr. is a 6'2", 184-pound true freshman cornerback for the Texas Longhorns from New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended Edna Karr High School, where he helped the program to an undefeated record and a Louisiana Division I Select state championship as a junior. Howard was a four-star recruit rated as the No. 28 cornerback in his class by recruiting services and No. 33 by Rivals.
