Nelson McGuire is an offensive lineman for Texas A&M, standing 6'4" and weighing 319 pounds. The Dallas native and Midlothian High School product was rated a 4-star prospect and ranked No. 8 among interior offensive linemen by recruiting services. At Midlothian, McGuire played under head coach Doug Wendel and anchored an offense that averaged 264.4 rushing yards per game in 2024, when the Panthers went 10-3 and reached the regional UIL 5A DI playoffs. As a junior, he helped his team to an 8-3 record with a 7-1 district mark. McGuire also competed in track and field, recording a personal best of 41-11 in the shot put.
