Bio

Jowell Combay is a 6'1", 200-pound true freshman safety from Kennesaw, Georgia, who attended both Harrison and Kell high schools. A consensus three-star recruit ranked No. 44 nationally among safeties by recruiting services, Combay recorded 56 tackles and four tackles for loss with two interceptions during his 2025 senior season at Kell, which reached the Georgia Class 4A state semifinals with an 11-2 record. He also contributed 18 receptions for 230 yards and two touchdowns on offense, plus seven kickoff returns for 265 yards. Combay earned Region 3-6A Athlete of the Year honors as a junior at Harrison in 2024 and totaled 152 tackles with four interceptions across his sophomore and junior seasons there.
