Calvin Russell III is a freshman wide receiver for Syracuse from Opa Locka, Florida. The 6'5", 195-pound prospect attended Miami Northwestern, where he won two state championships and earned All-Dade Player of the Year honors. Russell also competed in basketball and track and field, capturing two district titles in basketball. Rated five stars by recruiting services, he ranked as the No. 2 wide receiver and No. 23 overall prospect in the 2026 class, making him the third-highest rated recruit in Syracuse football history according to recruiting services.
